The Technical Implementation Unit for Career and Entrepreneurship Development (UPT PKK) of Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) held a Job Fair & Scholarship Expo as well as the Signing of the MoU with Quantum HRM. The Job Fair is an effort to provide good opportunities for job seekers in West Sumatra and the surrounding area.
The Job Fair held at the Auditorium Building of UNP from Wednesday to Thursday (December 5 to 6). The event was attended by the academic community and thousands of participants. The event presented 33 local and national companies.
Among of the companies are Telkomsel, Koperasi Nusantara, Purwacaraka, Cooperative Telkomsel, Telkom, ETC, Nutrifood, Bank Mandiri, Auto2000, West Sumatra Public Daily, Sun Life Insurance, Citilink, Indojaya Holiday and Mestika Bank, Grand Zuri Hotel, Villa Mandam, ASB Indonesia, Astra Daihatsu, PT Enseval Medika Prima (Kalbe Farma Group), STMIK Indonesia, City of Padang Training Center, PT Permata Indonesia, PT Bina Jasa Sumber Sarana, Gojek, PT Ho Gold Property, KSP Serambi Dana, Kryad Bumi Minang Hotel Abankadek Group, and Disnaker Work Training Center. BMC Bunda Hospital, Compro Mobile apps, Isuzu, BlueBird, JNE, MNC Vision and Ace Hardware while the three neighbouring of state universities that participated were the Republic of Singapore Polytechnic, Fatoni University and the Pahang (Malaysia) University College Foundation which would expose school information and scholarships.
Furthermore, there are also free facilities for making A1 cards (job seekers) by the Manpower and Industry Service which are carried out for free. In this event, there was also a job audition including CV reviewing, interviewing, and entrepreneurship workshops. A scholarship from LPDP and abroad universities (Asia, Europe and Australia) was also held.
